The Journey of Every Stitch

Sourced with Love
I carefully select the materials, supporting my local fabric shop in Sweden and rescuing high-quality vintage textiles through thrifting.

Slowly Crafted
With stillness and prayers, I cut, sew, and embroider each piece. No mass production, just one pair of hands and prayers.

The parish
Your purchase has a purpose. A portion of every sale is dedicated to my local parish, providing altar flowers and supporting our church renovation project.
Frequently asked questions
🧵 The Craft & Products
Do you take custom orders?
How do I know if a Bible sleeve will fit my Bible?
How do I care for my embroidered items?
Where are the products made?
What materials do you use & why are the items often "limited-edition"?
Sustainability is one of my biggest goals. I am committed to using natural materials, primarily 100% cotton and linen when possible. My materials come from two main sources:
Support for Local Business: I source high-quality fabrics from my local fabric store here in Sweden to support my neighbors and local craftsmanship.
Thrifted & Reclaimed: I love "rescuing" beautiful, high-quality vintage fabrics. By thifting materials, I give new life to existing textiles and reduce waste.
Because I thrift a lot of my fabrics, many patterns and colors are strictly limited. Once a specific thrifted fabric is gone, it’s gone! This means your item is often one-of-a-kind or part of a very small, exclusive collection.
Are the items blessed?
While the work of Blessedstitches is done with the blessing and guidance of my parish priest, the physical items themselves are not blessed when they leave my studio. I do not undertake any project or business decision without his spiritual counsel.
Special Requests for Blessing:
If you wish for your item to be blessed before it is sent to you, I offer the option to have the item placed in the Altar for 40 days to be blessed.
Please note: If you choose this option, your shipping time will be extended by the 40-day period and any delay for the blessing to occur. Please contact me if you would like to arrange this for your order.
📦 Shipping & Delivery
How long will it take to get my order?
Because everything is Prayerfully Made by hand, please allow 5 business days for your order to be sewn. After that, shipping within Sweden usually takes 1-3 days via Postnord, while international shipping varies by destination (usually 7-14 days).
A Note on My Schedule & Holy Days
Because my work is Prayerfully Made, I honor the rhythm of the Church calendar.
Red Days and Major Feasts are kept as times for prayer, stillness, and participation in the Divine Liturgy. On these days, the studio is closed, and I do not sew or ship orders.
Processing Time: Please keep this in mind when calculating your 5-day processing window. If a Feast Day falls during that time, I will return to your order with renewed joy the following day.
Response Time: I also take these days away from my computer and phone, so emails will be answered as soon as the festivities/prayers have concluded.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I ship within the EU from Sweden. EU orders are sent via tracked mail so you can follow your package’s journey to its new home.
I am trying my best to arrange international shipping as soon as possible.
🙏 The Mission & Donations
How does the donation to the church work?
Where can I see what my purchase has supported?
Because my items are handmade to order, I generally cannot accept returns. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact me immediately so I can make it right!

If you had told me a few years ago that I would be spending my afternoons quilting Bible covers and embroidering Saint quotes, I might have smiled in surprise. But...
